9/13a-N12 (Nevis South Heather)

Designed as a horizontal production well to capture oil reserves in the Oxfordian and Callovian sands of the Upper Jurassic on the Nevis South fault block. Successfully drilled in 2011 using the Transocean GSF Arctic III semi-submersible drilling rig.

9/13a-B58, 9/13a-B59z, 9/13a-B59y, 9/13a-B62,

9/13a-B64Y, 9/13a-B65Z (Beryl Bravo)

The Beryl Group of fields comprises a series of steeply dipping and tilted fault blocks. The reservoirs occur within marine sandstones of the Callovian Beryl D Heather Formation (Angus Member), the Bathonian/Bajocian Beryl C Hugin and Pentland Formations (Beryl and Linnhe Formations), the Hettangian-Pliensbachian Beryl A Statfdjord/Dunlin Group (Nansen/Eiriksson Formations) and the Triassic Skagerrak Formation (Lewis Formation). Snadstones and mudstones of Triassic age form the stratigraphically lowest reservoir rocks. They are commonly truncated but in places pass conformably into lower Jurassic sandstones of the Beryl A sands.

9/13a-66z, 9/13a-66y (Nevis)

An appraisal well to the 9/12-8 well on the Nevis West Structure. Drilled in 2005 using the Transocean GSF Arctic III semi-submersible drilling rig. A subsea development tied back to the Beryl Alpha platform that lies to the east north-east. The wells were drilled in 2005 using the GA3 semi-submersible drilling rig.

53/02-11 (Camelot East)

The Camelot field consists of five gas reservoirs with gas condensate traces grouped into three fields located on the southern margin of the Sole Pit Trough. The Lower Permian Leman Sandstone is the reservoir with the gas accumulations trapped in tilted fault terraces. The well was drilled in 2003 using the Ensco 80 jack-up drilling rig.

49/29a-10 (Gawain)

The Gawain field is located on the Inde shelf in the Southern North Sea. Gas is produced from the Leman Sandstone Formation of Early Permian age. The reservoir section is comprised predominantly of stacked aeolian dune sands posessing excellent poroperm characteristics. The structure is a complex northwest to southeast trending horst block with low structureal relief. The well was drilled in 2004 using the GA3 semi-submbersible drilling rig.

2003 to 2011 as Wellsite Geologist for Barrel Consultants Ltd.

9/19-S4, 9/19-S4z (Skene)

The Skene satellite field is part of the wider Beryl Embayment area and lies to the southeast of the main Beryl field. Gas is produced via the Beryl Alpha platform. The wells were drilled in 2001 using the GA3 semi-submersible drilling rig.

53/01a-13 (Camelot)

The Camelot field consists of five gas reservoirs with gas condensate traces grouped into three fields located on the southern margin of the Sole Pit Trough. The Lower Permian Leman Sandstone is the reservoir with the gas accumulations trapped in tilted fault terraces. The well was drilled in 1996 using the Rowan Halifax jack-up drilling rig.

49/29a-G2, 49/29a-G2st (Gawain)

The Gawain field is located on the Inde shelf in the Southern North Sea. Gas is produced from the Leman Sandstone Formation of Early Permian age. The reservoir section is comprised predominantly of stacked aeolian dune sands posessing excellent poroperm characteristics. The structure is a complex northwest to southeast trending horst block with low structureal relief. The well was drilled in 1995 using the Glomar Labrador 1 jack-up drilling rig.

49/22-Z7 (Ganymede)

Part of the wider Jupiter area with the reservoir in structurally high fault blocks of the Lower Permian Rotliegend Group sandstones. This Ganymede well was drilled in 1998 using the Rowan Halifax jack-up drilling rig.

48/12c-10 (Malory)

The Malory field straddles blocks 48/12d and 48/12c of the UK sector of the Southern North Sea on the western margin of the Sole Pit Trough. The field is located in an upthrown part of the Dowsing Fault Zone. The Malory field is a small fault bounded horst structure of Lower Permian, Rotliegend Leman Sandstone Formation sandstones with its source in Carboniferous Westphalian Coal Measures below and is sealed by overlying Upper Permian Zechstein evaporites. The well was drilled in 1997 using the Rowan Halifax jack-up drilling rig.

49/22-16, 49/22-17, 49/22-18 (Exploration)

Exploration wells drilled in the UK Southern North Sea Gas Basin in 1995 and 1996 using the Rowan Halifax jack-up drilling rig. Targetting the Lower Permian Rotliegend Lemand Sandstone with gas generation in the Carboniferous Westphalian Coal Measures below.

1995 to 2001 as Data Engineer / Mudlogger for Baker Hughes Inteq.
